Our Staff

Rev. Eliza Cramer Jaremko

Pastor

Pastor Eliza has served as Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Haddon Heights since 2011. She previously served as the Associate Pastor of John Calvin Presbyterian Church (now Crossroads Church) in San Antonio, TX. Eliza, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a lifelong Presbyterian. She was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in a joint service with her father, Rev. R. Stephen Cramer, at their hometown church in 2008. She is a graduate of the College of Wooster (BA in English) and earned her Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. 

Eliza currently serves as Moderator of the Presbytery FOR Southern New Jersey and is co-chair of the Vital Congregations Initiative. She serves on the board for the Women in Ministry Initiative at Princeton Theological Seminary. With a passion for writing, Pastor Eliza is a regular contributor to the Presbyterian Outlook's Voices Blog and blogs monthly at ReverendMama.

Eliza lives in Haddon Heights with her husband, Kyle, and their 2 children. They enjoy days down the shore, exploring museums and National Parks, and cheering on their favorite baseball teams.

Pastor Eliza has served as Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Haddon Heights since 2011. Dr.. Chris Thomas

Director of Music

Chris is excited to be the new Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church where he directs the Chancel Choir, the Calvin Choir (elementary-aged children), and the Covenant Ringers, our Bell Choir.  He is also Director of Choral Activities at Rowan University and Artistic Director of the Greater South Jersey Chorus.  

Originally from Illinois, Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Music Education from Millikin University and both the Masters and Doctorate in Choral Conducting from the University of Arizona.  He is the father of two young children, Greyson and Elandra.

Michael Rugge

Organist and Pianist

Mike has served as our church organist and pianist since 2014. A graduate of Rutgers University, he currently works as a supply planner for Campbell Meals and Beverage. He and his wife Molly were married at First Pres, and they reside in Laurel Springs with their daughter, Charlotte, and their pets, Bennett and Chistosa.

Mary Johnson

Administrative Assistant

Mary started at First Presbyterian Church in March of 2020 and was slowly introduced into her new role by way of a pandemic.  She is a native of Wisconsin, an avid Packers fan, and holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Dallas.  

She lives in Collingswood, NJ with her husband and three children, Matthew, Michael, and Sarah.  They are members of Fellowship Community Church in Mt. Laurel, and enjoy scuba diving, family game nights, and a competitive NFL season.

Abby Burrough

Nursery Co-Director

Abby continues to serve as our nursery co-director and we are thrilled to have her!  She is certified in First Aid and CPR and brings with her many years of experience in caring for our little ones.  Abby is currently at Rutgers University studying Childhood Studies and Psychology.  She and her family have been members of our church for almost 30 years and they live in Haddon Heights.

Kameron Evans

Nursery Co-Director

Kameron is excited to serve as co-director of the nursery alongside of her childhood friend, Abby. She has her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Childhood Studies and is certified in First Aid and CPR. She is now pursuing her Master's degree in Education with plans to be a Special Education teacher in the future. She is also a third generation FPCHH church member.

Korey Owens

Live-Stream Technician

 Korey Owens joined us in 2021 as our Live-Stream Technician, managing the sound and streaming aspects of our weekly worship services.                       

Korey is an IT professional and lives in Haddon Heights with his wife and their four children.  We are thrilled to have his services for our streaming and tech needs.
